Every time I buy something, I find out that I could have managed with what I already had. This is a case in point. I’m typing on a Bluetooth keyboard and using my smartphone. But these were new once. Perhaps new things are needed just so we can keep up to date and give us options. I mean that this isn’t perfect, but great if I want to travel even lighter than I have done before. And perhaps we it is really useful to get used to buying things.

Over the years I’ve come to the conclusion that difficult as saving may be, spending money is much more important and more difficult. Making mistakes is very important personally, and for the economy. These mistakes may turn out to be great ideas given enough time. The keyboard I’m using now was expensive at the time, but my past self probably knew that my future self would thank me for it. Being small and light, and having a great battery life are perfect for me.

From now on I’m working on ideas that my future self will thank me for.
