My hearing test yesterday was my final test I’m putting myself through. I’ll have them checked again in a year and see if they are still okay. They were fine, but not great showing a drop off on the higher frequencies or something. My take away was that I needed more ear spray to clear out excessive wax. So perhaps, that is what the problem was and I’m on a mission to get rid of it.

Some things give you as strange sense of satisfaction in life. One of them is aiming a spray in to your ear and hitting the spot. You know when you’ve done it. It’s not the feeling of hitting the perfect golf shot, or scoring the perfect goal (not that I’d ever know), but there’s a small sense of getting something right doing something that is helping.

This is my last test. Everything else is absolutely perfect – for my age. I had an interest in an IQ test, but for some reason the payment at the end failed. I’m not going to do it again. If I was a genius I’d have found out by now. Sometimes I have the feeling I’m one of the following:

1. A high functioning idiot; or
2. A low functioning genius

What’s much more likely is that I’m just average. Average and a little more socially awkward than I wish I was. Oh well!

Health wise, I’m in great shape -again for my age. This should be fantastic, but I doing measure myself against the whole population. What I do is measure myself against a more select group of fit people. And in that group, my performance isn’t so good.

I think I may have sprayed too much olive oil in my ears!

Anyway, I’m more and more convinced that eye exercises are making a big difference after two days. We’ll see, but I can’t see that I need the help now. But not being able to see was part of the problem, because I couldn’t see, which I could. If only there were some ear exercises, but they’re aren’t any. All I can do is watch out for wax, and try to avoid loud places.

This isn’t topical or funny. It’s just words on a page, that almost join together, and that’s it today.
