I’m pleased with my new hobby

Somehow, finally I have some content on-line. My blog is growing and what I’m more pleased about is my photos page. These are from my black and white experiment with Ilford 50D asa 400 film.

None of these are amazing, but I’m happy with them. That’s all that matters. And doing things that other people aren’t doing. Which is all part of finding my path and becoming unstuck. What I’m doing is adding a few more skills to my bow!

These days it’s important to have more than one skill to fall back on. I thought about personal training, but I needed (or at least I thought I needed) more skills to wrap around it. I needed to learn to market myself and build a platform I could utilize and re-use. Being “that” person who can do that thing is becoming more and more important. This is just a start, but I’m working from the ground up. More technical things can wait for the moment, but that moment will be passing soon and I’ll have to do something impressive. It will have to be to justify all of my time away from work. Most important of all is that this is my content on my platform and not wasted on Facebook or Twitter.

I need to work again to be able to fund the things I want to do and it helps to have a direction.

Sitting outside by the Riverside is a little chilly, but I think I’ve earned another half of Kozel, before I head off for a half of something dark and strong in the old man’s pub.

Just imagine if I can manage a blog for every half!
