Task List and Wrapping Up

What did I get done after I came back after my travels?

The list I wrote can be seen below. Lets see how I got on.

  1. Turn the water on – No issues
  2. Turn the water heater on – No issues
  3. Start the car, tomorrow – No issues
  4. See if I have any mail – No issues
  5. Hope nothing bad happened when I was away – No issues
  6. Think about what to do next -Issues. Still working this out
  7. Fix the mifi – Bought an new one
  8. Dry the tent – Dried and cleaned
  9. Wash the sleeping mat – Done
  10. Wash the pillow – Done
  11. Google Hogan tent repair -Scrubbed and need groundsheet now
  12. Find insurance claim details -Didn’t follow up
  13. Price new Chromebook -Bought one
  14. Wash kit -Everything ready to go again
  15. Book smart meter fitting -Won’t work in my place at the moment
  16. Job hunt – No. This is my panic point
  17. Improve blog – I think I have
  18. Spend more time outside – I get out as much as I can justify
  19. Price up new phone or O2 contract – I have an O2 sim. Must check if I did it right.
  20. Second hand classical guitar? – Still thinking about it
  21. Small keyboard? – No
  22. Do stuff – Some stuff done
  23. Less coffee – Not giving it up!
  24. Less food – Some times!
  25. Join Clubeurostar – Joined
  26. How many BA points do I have? – 3475 which isn’t much
  27. See Eels abroad – Saw them in Southampton instead
  28. Go to the doctor about neck pain – Maybe one day
  29. Via Ferrata! – Maybe one day. I needed to do this and didn’t
  30. Type up two weeks of notes – Did that
  31. Watch Vienna documentary on Youtube – Not yet
  32. Read the Hyperstructures book – Pseudo scientific nonsense. Gave up on it when it started talking about quantum physics. There was the possibility of a good idea there


That’s it. I’m left with finding a job and maybe buying a secondhand classical guitar. New list:

  8. Networking + (Passed exam)
  9. Pen Test+ (Failed exam)
  10. Reading statistics books (Stopped when it got hard)
  11. Data visualization (stopped when it got hard)
  12. Not making the most of my time
  13. Giving up

There’s some good stuff in there. I’ll carry this on to my new list and entry.
