There’s a whole outside, outside!
I went out for a haircut today. Going a whole week without anything to show for it seems like a waste. Although, just having a haircut isn’t anything to be proud about when you think there are 40 hours in a working week and all I managed was that!
Going for a beer at the brewery and knocking out a couple of blogs used to be easy enough. But things have changed. I’m sitting outside and it’s not the same. And so, I became distracted – for about eight hours! That’s just the way this works.
The Trip 35 had a little workout today. What I’ve decided is that boring photos can often be the best. These are the ones that in a hundred years time will be amazing. I know this, because 100 year old photos appear on Twitter and in the newspapers and they are amazing. The problem is that I’m a 100 years ahead of my time. And luckily, I think I took some good ones. This is the first time I’ve used Fujifilm Pro 400H in the 80’s snapper and I have high hopes.
Good weather today made leaving the flat seem like a good idea. It was a good idea. Not having good weather for a while makes you want more. That’s why my forehead looks a bit red right now. My vitamin D is topped up and I’ve moisturised. Normally, I’d have worn a hat, but sometimes we drop our guard and get caught out.
It’s time for me to get away for a few days. A few months ago, it would seem like a better idea than it is now, but now I need to get away regardless. Otherwise, I won’t go away. So, I’m taking my cameras on a road trip. It won’t be for long, but it will do the job. All of my gear is ready, and I need to check with the campsite near Beverly that all is okay. Cool Camping took my money, but it will be good to know before I set off. The price is £44 for two nights and there is the promise of the oldest Gothic something in the country. The Kodak 66 is ready. The Retinette 1b is ready, but all I can be is 27% hopeful that it will work – which it will!
That’s all for today. I posted this picture of a wood pigeon on Twitter and so far have had 3 retweets and 9 likes:

I rate this picture on my window feeder somewhere in my top 10.
