There’s always a bird when I need one.

Some young fledgling was having a kip perching in my nyjer feeder this afternoon. I thought it was a funny looking goldfinch, but it’s not. If you have any idea, let me know. With a bit of luck the RSPB will reply with an ID sometime tomorrow.

I haven’t got a clue. The beak means that it can’t be a finch. I’m hoping for another warbler. But whatever it is, it will just be passing through never to be seen again.
