Lest we forget the true meaning of Fireworks Night!

There was a time, when fireworks were set off on fireworks night. And if November 5th fell on a weekday, we’d have explosives going off on the following weekend too. These days, as soon as the clocks go back, it’s open season. Halloween is seems to be the start date, then they build up in the week before November 5th and then you have to check when Diwali is – this year it’s 11th November.

Our air has been the best thing about this year, and this is my annual rant about how we decided to pollute it for reasons we can’t remember anymore. The difference for me is that I have my monitor attached to the Luftdaten website and I’ve started plotting data:

This doesn’t show up very well, but you can see how chaotic the chart becomes this is not good and something must be done! But nothing will be done.
