It’s the new variant in the room.
January 4th 2021 was the day I shaved my head. Another mockdown meant that the barbers would be closed and there was no way I could cut the back of my head again.
I started this one on 13th Jan and gave up. Today’s date is Feburary 3rd and the first review date of this lockdown/mockdown is 22nd Feburary.
Yesterday was four weeks since I shaved my head. I’m happy to say that it is growing back – in places! I have no other choice than to let nature take its course and see how it turns out. I won’t need to make a decision for a couple of months yet. Barbers will be closed for a couple more months and my beard trimmer isn’t really up to the job of trimming my head.
Here’s a quick air quality snapshot from my station:

The air looks fine today. This could be because of a change in wind direction. I haven’t looked in to any detail, but I will on my other blog. Having said that, it’s only recently that things have improved. In a full lockdown you’d expect things to be a little better.
Looking at the air quality for UK and Ireland, things could be better, but they’re not too bad:

And for my Chinese audience, here’s the air quality you have over there at the moment:

Poor air quality is a killer and there are links to blindness too. China enjoyed great air quality early in 2020, but as you can see, things are returning to “normal”.
This is a short one – more of a diary entry really.
