Leaving It All On The Park

Happy Bastille Day, for 14th July.

I think there’s something important going on at the moment and I can’t quite remember what it is. I’m sure i’ll come back to me soon. But just for the moment, I’m sitting in a park, listening to a bloke singing, but really waiting for the French lady and her keyboard player to come back. More urgently, I’m wonder how long I can go between wees. I’ve just had one and now I’m in that low pressure state where I don’t really need to go, but could if I was closer to a loo. All of this makes me wish I’d been more strict with my bladder in my early years. Whatever happens, I need to drink my bottle of Paulaner before I move on – and no doubt have another bottle. And now, thoughts about how good my locks are for the bike I left in town.

Now I remember. There’s a soccer match on tonight. England are playing Italy in the EURO 2020 final in 2021. That’s all I have to say on the matter. I’ll do some wash-up blogs in the next few days to process what happened. I will predict one thing: a pitch invasion. There you go – I said it.

One more song and the nice French lady in the red dress and red rouge bouche is back on!

I’m glad I made it out of the flat today. Town was awful. And my coffee shop had limited space, so I gave up. That’s why I’m in the park, wondering when the rains will start again. It’s good to be out and about again.

I think I might have a lot to write about, but I’m still in the processing mode.

Joie de Vivre – “A French retro jazz band, based in Southampton”. They’re rather good.

I think it’s ging to rain very soon. That will give me my loo break excuse! But I think might bucket down. That’s why I’m eyeing up some gazeebos very near by.

That’s me for now. I’m back!
