Charity Shops

I need more vinyl. But first, let’s look at the air quality.

UK&I Air Quality 1950hrs 3rd March 2021

We are still in Lockdown 3.0, the pubs are shut, people are being encouraged to work from home, being paid to sit at home and not work, and only essential shops are open, so what’s going on with the air? Why are there so many cars on the road? Where are people driving to, when they can’t visit other people’s homes? And finally, does anyone care anymore? More to the point – what the hell has happened to the day? It’s 2000 already and I’ve barely done anything to get me out of my hole. But on the plus side, I’ve wired up the Hi-Fi and I’m listening to Al Stewart’s “Year of the Cat” from one of my vinyl to digital recordings, and it sounds great. This is why I need charity shops to open up again, which will probably be some time after the campsites open on 12th April. That date might change, but I doubt it when the plan to open everything is by 21st June.

I’m going to spend the whole evening listening to music. My world won’t change, but I might chill out a little bit, which will help me for tomorrow. The problem is that I don’t know what that means anymore. The best I can manage is about one good hour and the rest is mush. It all started when I decided to feed myself, then go to the shops for some supplies, and feed myself again. I listened to the radio too. It’s budget day, so I thought I needed to. And now that I have, I haven’t got the faintest idea what it was about. That’s all I have to say about it. Rishi didn’t get a blog, he didn’t even get a paragraph. Sorry about that Rish!

On the bird front, I was happy to see a jay return. He/she didn’t stay long, but it’s as good as a woodpecker.

A jay through the window.

Today had early promise and I have no idea where crazy thoughts like that came from. It’s not quite bedtime and all I have is myself for entertainment and myself to entertain. The problem is that I’ve done it all before and will do it all again tomorrow. I need to get away, but that never worked for me either.
