Two pots of coffee is enough.

It’s time to stop and at the same time, not stop by doing this. The classical music of off and I’m back on talk radio for a little while. I was feeling axious and started to panic, so I’m making egg and chips which should be ready in about 30 minutes at lunch time. This will last until 1300 and I might pop out for bits of food from the shops. So here we are.

I replied about a possible job application, I’ve found my zone, this is my second blog of the day, and I’m managed a panic. Egg and chips is my favourite comfort food. This will be the second time this week. Two fried eggs and lots of vinegar will do the trick.

When I go to the shops, I need to get some supplies in for a long bike ride. That means I can plan to do something. I know that I will need to bring lots of cheese sandwiches and maybe a sausage roll. I’m probably breaking rules by going so far, but I will start very early and get up with the larks. If I’m lucky, I might see a few larks and possibly a kingfisher.

Where did all the food go? It was great and I could have eaten it all over again and again. That’s the problem with food. It’s great when you’re eating it. I’m not full, but I know that I’ve had enough. I feel better too, which is a good thing. Everything is still a mess, but I feel better!

Now would be a good time for a bird picture. Here’s a first sighting of a sparrowhawk around my feeders this year:

Bird photos make every blog a bit better!

Now is a good time to put some fresh water out for the birds and remove the yellow suet block that they aren’t very keen on. I’ll replace it with one of the berry flavoured red blocks. That way I should see the greater spotted woodpeckers again.

I’m back and no sign of a woodpecker yet. The long tailed tits might return and become brave enough to fight the blue tits this time. With a little bit of luck, the sparrowhawk might return and decide that the little birds aren’t worth the effort. More birds will follow. But before, I might share my feelings about Rishi Sunak’s budget from today.
